Welcome to Gille Ghagaich
Welcome to ‘Gille Ghagaich’. Converted from a traditional steading, step inside and you will find it a cosy, comfortable and excellently equipped home to base yourselves for your self-catering holiday on the Isle of Arran.
The cottage sleeps 5 in two upstairs en-suite bedrooms. There is also a large king-size bedroom downstairs (available by separate arrangement).

You are very welcome to explore our extensive garden which has a burn running through it. Paths lead you past rhododendrons, azaleas and camellias. There is a private grass area outside the cottage with a garden table and chairs.

The island is well-known to geologists throughout the UK and those interested in plant life will find an almost unbelievable range of species, some of which are recognizable from as far as the Caribbean, New Zealand and China.
Two hours west of Glasgow (including a one hour ferry crossing). Arran is also conveniently located for people arriving from England or Ireland.

So much to see and do!
Take a tour around one of the many visitor attractions, including the new brewery at Brodick, or the award-winning Lochranza and Lagg Distilleries. Arran is a 'golfers' paradise' and there are wonderful mountain and costal walks. Even if it does rain from time-to-time, there’s never excuse to sit around!
